UF Research Communications is looking for an excellent storyteller to spend Summer 2025 translating the amazing research under way at UF for a science attentive audience. The ideal candidate would have strong journalistic writing skills and the ability to translate complex ideas into lay language. Projects would include a series of short bios about UF faculty, complementary content for web and social, and short stories for UF’s Explore research magazine.

Pay is $15/hour for up to 20 hours per week. If credit is desired, student is responsible for getting the required college approvals.

Possibility for continuing opportunities during the fall semester.
