As a Communications Intern at the UF Health Cancer Center (UFHCC) you will be responsible for working with the Assistant Director of Communications to coordinate social media acitvities on behalf of the Center and our trainees, staff, faculty, promoting active education programs and opportunities, connecting with current trainees and alumni, and highlighting trainee, staff, and faculty accomplishments and program successes through a variety of internal and external communications tactics.
In your new role you will be responsible for:
Creating and scheduling platform-specific social media content by designing graphics and multimedia projects using Canva or similar programs, photographing events, and writing and updating content.
Facilitating media requests and attending a weekly media forecast meeting with UF Health Communications staff.
Carrying out day-to-day social media activities, such as responding to comments and facilitating conversations to drive engagement and strengthen the center’s identity.
