The application period for the Television Academy Foundation’s 2022 Internship Program is now open for college media students nationwide.

Graduate and undergraduate students studying television arts can apply for paid internships in the television industry now through January 19, 2022 at 5:00pm (PT) for spring and summer positions.

As Hollywood’s premiere television internship program, students are provided with in-depth and hands-on professional experience in a variety of fields at prominent Los Angeles studios and production facilities.

Internship categories include:

  • Program Development
  • Directing
  • Editing
  • Interactive Media
  • News
  • Writing

In addition to real-life experience in the television industry, summer interns benefit from weekly professional development sessions including panels with television industry leaders, customized seminars on personal brand building and navigating the job market ahead.

Selected interns will join a prestigious group of alumni including:

  • Jennifer Celotta, producer, Space Force
  • Layne Eskridge, President, POV Entertainment
  • Elisabeth Finch, consulting producer, Grey’s Anatomy

  • Eric R. Johnson, assistant art director, WandaVision

  • Sev Ohanian, executive producer, Judas and the Black Messiah

All selected interns become lifelong members of the Television Academy’s alumni network, gaining access to exclusive networking opportunities, industry events and an online alumni platform.

2022 Internships may be in-person, hybrid or remote, depending on the opportunity, and are subject to change. As a condition of employment, the Academy Foundation will require all in-person or hybrid-work interns to show proof of vaccination against COVID-19. Reasonable accommodations will be considered.
