Summer Digital Communications Internship

Location: Remote

The Page Society is seeking a part-time intern (15-20 hrs/week) to assist the communications and marketing team. The ideal candidates will be current undergraduate or graduate students (or recent graduates of a graduate-level program) in a relevant field of study.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Senior Manager – Digital Marketing & Analytics to support communications and marketing initiatives.
  • Coordinate and execute the day-to-day email marketing activities, primarily email ideation and production.
  • Support marketing data analytics efforts to optimize organizational marketing and communications strategies.
  • Support and implement a comprehensive social media strategy (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and YouTube) to increase engagement, reach, visibility and traffic.
  • Provide administrative support to other team members as needed.

Qualifications

  • Background and/or undergraduate degree in corporate communications, public relations, marketing, or journalism (current graduate student preferred)
  • Good attention to detail, including proofreading and editing ability
  • Outstanding written and oral communications skills
  • Experience with email marketing and marketing automation platforms such as Higher Logic, Constant Contact, MailChimp and HubSpot
  • Experience writing/editing for the web (blogging and other web-based content)
  • Basic familiarity with Microsoft Excel
  • Basic knowledge of HTML preferred but not required
  • Familiarity with Adobe Design Suite (Photoshop, InDesign and/or Illustrator) and interest in data analytics is a plus
