In the role of the Social Media Intern, you will be tasked with assisting in a range of social media initiatives within Athelo Group. This individual will have duties that include developing engaging content across all agency channels, writing captions for social media posts, tracking engagement for social media campaigns, and creating social media posting schedules. This individual will also be responsible for editing, creating, and organizing forms of content (blogs, vlogs, and graphics). Applicants must be detail-oriented, articulate communicators, adaptive to client needs, and exhibit a proactive mindset. Candidates will be receiving academic credit for this internship position.

Key Responsibilities
- Execute social media campaigns and create content such as blogs, infographics, videos, and press releases across all relevant social media channels on behalf of clients and the agency.
- Track social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for future growth.
- Build and execute content strategy for partnership projects, clients, and the agency.
- Participate in creative ideation for the agency’s social media content calendar on a weekly basis.
- Develop and execute agency email marketing campaigns.
- Monitor the agency’s website and social platform results on a weekly basis to drive optimization across digital, social, and content strategies.
- Represent the agency’s tone and voice professionally through social media communication and engagement.
- Stay on the pulse of social media trends to provide recommendations for client and agency social channels.
- Assist in the creation, management, archival, and retrieval of graphics, photos, animations, and other digital assets

- Program skills: advanced knowledge of G Suite, Microsoft Office, Square Space, Mail Chimp, Canva, and social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, Threads, etc. preferred.

- Maintain standards and professionalism with colleagues, clients, and partners during fluctuating
workloads.

Education and Qualifications
Must be currently enrolled in a college or university (all concentrations will be considered).
1-2 years of related experience and/or training preferred.

office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds, for in-person work opportunities.
Work Environment
This job operates fully remotely, offering the option to work from anywhere, with the opportunity to
attend in person at our Norwalk, CT office. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
