The Regions Marketing and Communications Summer Internship Program offers internship opportunities to college students in the following departments: Social Media, Paid Media, Marketing Operations, Media and Public Relations.
Social Media Video Production Intern will help develop and execute highly engaging Social-first video content to support the launch and growth of Regions’ Social Media channels.
Social Media Community Management Intern will put copywriting front and center of proactive engagements by finding appropriate conversations Regions should participate in outside of inbound responses, initiating conversations, joining relevant discussions, and commenting on others’ posts to build relationships and promote our brand.
Paid Media Intern will support the development and execution of Regions’ paid media strategies across multiple marketing channels – i.e., Out-of-Home, TV, Radio, and Digital. Intern will be exposed to audience/market research, campaign planning, and reporting.
Marketing Operations and MarTech Intern will work to understand data, document requirements, develop targeted audiences, and build operational reports (leveraging SQL, Tableau and Power BI) that will support strategic marketing plans. Intern will be engaged in project management and campaign lifecycles, building an understanding of technical and data strategies, while implementing a project and/or campaign.
Media and Public Relations Intern will be immersed in best practices regarding how a large organization provides accurate and timely information to external media sources and the broader public while managing incoming requests for information and proactively securing awareness of bank initiatives in key markets.
Internship Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
A college student who has interest in developing technical skills and gaining work experience
Ability to work 40 hours a week for 10 weeks
Regions will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position. Applicants for this position must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
