Oliba Knights is a growing real estate and holdings company with a diverse portfolio, including commercial property, long-term rentals in Florida, and high-yield international short-term rentals (Airbnbs) in the Dominican Republic. We are seeking a talented and creative Web Designer Intern to take ownership of our digital presence, focusing on aesthetics, functionality, and brand identity.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a student to gain practical experience by managing a real-world company website that serves as a central hub for our brand and property listings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Website Design & Development: Assist with designing, building, and maintaining a professional website for Oliba Knights that reflects our brand and clearly organizes our commercial, long-term, and short-term rental holdings.
- UX/UI Optimization: Assist with ensuring the website is user-friendly, visually appealing, and optimized for mobile devices and search engines (SEO).
- Property Integration: Assist with working with the management team to integrate current property images, descriptions, and links (e.g., to Airbnb listings) into the site.
- Brand Consistency: Assist with implementing the Oliba Knights logo and color codes consistently across all digital assets.
- E-commerce/Booking Support: Assist with implementing solutions for direct booking integration or high-quality referral links for our STR portfolio.
- Testing and QA: Assist with conducting cross-browser and functionality testing to ensure seamless performance.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Currently enrolled in a degree program focused on Web Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, Marketing, or a related technical field.
- Proficiency in modern web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Experience with website builders or content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Squarespace, Wix).
- Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma).
- A strong portfolio (or samples of work) demonstrating design principles and aesthetics.
- Ability to work independently, manage project deadlines, and communicate technical concepts clearly.
Internship Details:
- Duration: 2026 Spring Semester ~ January 5, 2026 – May 29th, 2026
- Hours Per Week: 10hrs or Degree Requirement
- Compensation: Unpaid
- Location: Remote
