NBA Summer Internship

The NBA Summer Internship is a 10-week program that runs from early June to mid-August. The program provides participants with the opportunity to learn about the business of basketball, develop critical career skills and contribute to meaningful projects across a range of departments within the NBA

 

Program Overview

Internships are open to both undergraduate and graduate students. To be eligible, applicants must be either a rising college senior or current graduate student in an accredited institution at the time of the program.

We look for individuals who share our passion for the game and the mission of the NBA: to inspire and connect people everywhere through the power of basketball.

Candidates should be in excellent academic standing and have strong written and verbal communication skills. Additionally, we look for candidates who possess leadership skills as demonstrated through relevant extracurricular or community activities.

Pay Rates:

  • Undergraduate internships: $26/hr
  • Undergraduate Technical internships: $32/hr
  • Graduate internships: $35/hr
  • Graduate Technical internships: $40/hr
  • AI Undergraduate internships: $32/hr
  • AI Graduate internships: $40/hr
