Responsibilities and Tasks
- Manage and optimize CSI’s social media presence across Meta, LinkedIn, X, and TikTok, including scheduling, publishing, and community engagement
- Create and repurpose digital content — including graphics, short-form video clips, and copy — for use across social, email, and web channels
- Write, segment, and deploy email campaigns that grow and engage our audience
- Recommend and sometimes make updates to the CSI website (built on Webflow), including posting new content, optimizing for user experience and SEO, and coordinating with external vendors as needed
- Track, report, and analyze key performance metrics (email, social, web) and translate insights into actionable improvements
- Collaborate across teams (e.g., MarComms, Policy, Campaigns, Research & Data) and with external partners to ensure message alignment and amplify reach
- Support digital infrastructure, including list hygiene, automation workflows, and basic integrations between tools (e.g., web forms to email platform)
- Monitor digital trends and recommend platform-specific best practices
Who You Are
- A digital marketer with 5+ years of hands-on experience, ideally in nonprofit, advocacy, or mission-driven work. You’re a strong writer and editor, comfortable creating content across email, social, and web.
- Data-informed and results-oriented, with experience tracking performance, reporting on outcomes, and using insights to improve strategy.
- Fluent in common digital marketing tools, including Google Analytics, Mailchimp (or similar ESPs), Webflow or other CMS platforms, Meta Business Suite, social campaign tools, Asana, and Google Workspace. You’re also comfortable using generative AI tools to support content creation and workflow efficiency.
- Collaborative across teams, thrive in a remote, cross-functional environment, and can create polished visual content using Canva, with basic experience in audio or video tools like Riverside.
- Bonus: You have experience deploying and managing paid ad campaigns on digital platforms.

- Clear reporting that informs strategy and resource allocation

You’ll be joining a team with strong foundations in branding and messaging. This role is an opportunity to build on that work, bringing a more data-driven, performance-oriented approach to our digital channels and expanding our reach to the people who need our support most and other key audiences.
Compensation and Benefits
Comprehensive benefits package that includes 100% employer-paid health, dental, and vision insurance, a 6% employer match towards 401k retirement, pre-tax transportation benefits, and paid holidays, vacation, sick, and casual time off.
The Clean Slate Initiative is committed to transparent and fair compensation. The hiring range for this position is an annual salary range of $90,000-$95,000 per year.
The final salary within this range will be determined based on qualifications and relevant experience. Once an offer is made, we do not negotiate the compensation package.
This is a full-time position and is considered exempt for overtime purposes. This is a remote position and we are location agnostic regarding where in the US you are based. However, we will discuss a hybrid or in-office work location for candidates in proximity to our Orlando office. You will need to:
- Currently reside in the United States and be authorized to work in the United States
- Work collaboratively with a team in various time zones
- Be close to a major airport with the ability to travel approximately 10-15%
- Attend required onsite planning meetings at least 2 times a year in various locations
- Attend 1 all staff learning trip and our annual convening each year
