Dalton is a full-service brand and communications agency that represents a wide range of global, national and regional clients. The agency provides award-winning creative designs and brand development, public relations, social media, web design, media placement, television and radio production services.
The public relations/communications internship program provides college students with hands-on public relations experience before entering the field. Collaborating closely with our team of public relations professionals in Jacksonville, Atlanta and Nashville, interns will complete a variety of PR projects from initial brainstorming and development through completion. The intern will also collaborate with other departments, such as social media or creative, to understand integrated communication efforts.
Specific projects/tasks include, but are not limited to:
– Draft public relations materials such as press releases, media pitches, media lists, media alerts, blogs, etc.
– Prepare media monitoring reports for clients using Critical Mention and Google Looker Studio
– Attend client and internal team meetings
– Provide input during brainstorming sessions, PR strategic planning meetings, case studies and more
– Research potential influencer partnerships and collaborations
– Collaborate/shadow other departments during photoshoots, on-site events, etc.
– Proofread with attention to grammar and AP style
– Conduct qualitative and quantitative research for client projects
– Participate in planning and execution of Dalton team activities
Hours: 3-4 days in-office, schedule to be determined with supervisor once internship is accepted (Ex: Monday – Thursday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.)

Details: Paid $15/hour – 20 hours/week for 8 weeks; parking and additional expenses reimbursed
