Job Summary/Description:
The Lifestyle Creative Services Producer is a multi-functional, highly creative role responsible for producing content for WTOC’s lifestyle show “Morning Break”, while also representing the station to viewers, advertising prospects, and established clients. This position requires strong collaboration with the Sales team, excellent communication skills, and the ability to maintain positive working relationships across departments.
The ideal candidate is energetic, motivated, organized, and able to manage both independent tasks and group projects with equal efficiency. Flexibility, attention to detail, and the ability to pivot quickly between assignments are essential.
This role also requires active participation in station-wide productions. Projects may involve multi-camera shoots, complex audio setups, remote locations, and occasional live broadcasts. Collaboration with the News Department is expected during severe weather coverage and community events, which may require working outside standard business hours and beyond an eight-hour workday.
Duties/Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
– Meet and exceed the expectations of WTOC, clients, and partners.
– Lead and manage full commercial and long-form production processes, including pre-production, shooting, post-production, and graphics.
– Oversee multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards.
– Collaborate effectively with clients, build trust, and educate them on creative and production processes.
– Operate video cameras and related production equipment with proficiency.
– Demonstrate a strong understanding of shot composition and visual storytelling.
– Use Adobe Creative Cloud applications—Premiere, After Effects, Audition, Photoshop—with confidence.
– Write creative copy for station promotions and branded content.
– Capture broadcast-quality video using cinema-grade cameras and drones.
– Lead projects from initial concept through final delivery.
– Apply strong knowledge of graphics and animation in production workflows.
– Adhere to WTOC branding guidelines in all creative output.
Qualifications/Requirements:
– 2-3 years’ experience in a related field with marketing or promotions expertise is a plus
– Strong, working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite of Products
– Excellent writing and communication skills
– A reel and/or portfolio showcasing work
– High level of creativity, ability to think “outside the box.”
– Strong Brand management focus
– Be highly motivated with a positive attitude and be passionate about creating great content.
– The ability to multitask and keep up with several projects at once
– Must have a clean driving record and be able to lift 40 pounds
