College Baseball Reporting Intern
Baseball Prospect Journal (BaseballProspectJournal.com), a leading national publication focused on MLB draft and baseball prospect coverage, is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated College Baseball Reporting Intern for the spring 2025 semester. This position offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience covering NCAA college baseball while building a strong portfolio of professional writing clips.
Responsibilities:
- Write clean, accurate, and engaging game recaps, news articles and feature stories.
- Conduct interviews with players, coaches and stakeholders to provide in-depth insights.
- Identify and showcase players and storylines within the college baseball program and conference.
As a Baseball Prospect Journal intern, you’ll join the credentialed media, contributing to the in-depth coverage of college baseball for a highly regarded publication trusted by fans, scouts and MLB front-office executives. In this role, you’ll build a portfolio of professional, published writing clips while gaining hands-on experience interviewing athletes and sports professionals. It’s an excellent opportunity to deepen your understanding of the media side of college baseball and expand your network within the industry.
