Audubon Florida’s Conservation Leadership Initiative (CLI) is a fellowship spanning the academic year that pairs 25 undergraduate students with Audubon chapter mentors for an immersive experience in environmental leadership.
Students participate in field trips, workshops, and hands-on conservation projects while exploring career paths in areas like habitat restoration, advocacy, and nonprofit leadership. CLI is open to students of all backgrounds—no prior experience required, just a desire to learn and get involved. The program launches in October at the Audubon Florida Assembly, our annual state conference, which brings over 250 Florida conservationists together to collaborate and learn.
