To serve as the Digital Magazine Content Manager for the American Logistics Association (ALA) Military Commerce Magazine responsible for managing the editorial direction, content coordination and creation, and publication of the magazine while also driving advertising and sponsorship sales. This role includes assisting with membership services to enhance engagement and value for ALA members.
Additional duties:
Advertising & Sponsorship Sales Coordination
Assist with development and implement a sales strategy to secure advertising and sponsorship revenue for the magazine.
Assist with identifying and cultivating relationships with potential advertisers and sponsors within the ALA industry members and non-members.
Membership Services & Engagement
Work closely with the ALA staff to solicit new members and maintain contacts with current members to ensure renewals of memberships each year.
Communicate the value of ALA membership through magazine content, special features, and promotional efforts in coordination with the ALA staff and Communications Director.
Assist in organizing and promoting member events, webinars, and networking opportunities.
This is a 1099 contract position – contract compensation negotiable. (25 hours per week)
