We would like our Advertising intern to be passionate about helping the community, expand our reach to support more moms, and be creative with our Online platforms as well as new advertising campaigns.

Empowering moms to first take care of themselves in order for them to be effective in their family, community at work or in the home.

Intern Responsibilities:

• Support advertising campaign planning and execution
• Write copy for emails, brochures, flyers and other promotional collateral
• Assist in the creation of written, video, and image content for social media
• Participate in advertising brainstorming sessions
• Take part in training opportunities
• Measure and report the results of advertising initiatives

Work Hours & Benefits:
This is an unpaid hybrid Summer internship ( 5/13/24 – 8/13/24 ).
You will only be required to meet in person as needed for a staff meeting or if asked to attend an event etc. Our interns work 15 to 20 hours per week – Monday through Friday with occasional work on a Saturday during an event.
We prefer all interns to start at 9:00AM daily, however if there is a class schedule conflict – work time can be adjusted.
As an intern, you will gain valuable work experience, a letter of recommendation when needed, and you may use the Founder as a reference for future job opportunities.

Intern Qualifications:

• Applied understanding of basic advertising principles
• Familiarity with major social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.)
• Creative problem-solving skills
• Self-starter with ability to work independently
• Comfortable with multitasking in a deadline-driven environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Basic photography, image and editing skills

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Currently working towards a bachelor’s degree in advertising or a related field
• Successful completion of introductory courses in advertising or equivalent
• Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word etc.)
• Some knowledge and use of Adobe, Word Press, and or Canva
