Account Coordinators act as core team members on client accounts and perform various PR and marketing tasks. They act as overall administrative support for the team and company while learning and honing their PR skills.


  • Assists the team and all supervising account members in the development and maintenance of media lists
  • Maintains up-to-date list of all industry trade shows, speaking opportunities, and awards programs
  • Researches and maintains editorial calendars for client submissions
  • Drafts media materials such as pitches, press releases, fact sheets, project and product descriptions, and bios
  • Drafts award submissions and speaker proposals
  • Responsible for regular account management activities, such as agendas, recaps, activity reports, media monitoring and the coordination of all necessary materials for client accounts
  • Conducts media sweeps on an ongoing basis and maintain client press coverage documents including press
  • Maintains and updates account files
  • Participates in agency brainstorming sessions to develop strategic/creative thinking for clients
  • Involved in preliminary client interaction as needed
  • Handles miscellaneous research, duties, and projects as required
  • Performs various administrative tasks on behalf of team and client
  • Supports social media influencer relations (where applicable)
  • Shows strong skills with the use of Cision and other PR programs

  • Shows initiative in expanding and growing written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong grammatical skills and ability to write clearly and concisely
  • Pays close attention to detail when drafting or editing documents and ensures accuracy of all written materials
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team(s), encouraging feedback from manager(s) and team members
  • Supports team with responding to client requests or needs in a timely and professional manner

  • Manages assigned projects in a timely manner with appropriate supervision

  • Demonstrates flexibility in working across teams and the ability to adapt to project needs, different team working styles, etc.
  • Proactively seeks to learn about the architecture and design industry by reading industry newsletters, staying
    current on industry news, and reporting internally on newsjacking opportunities
  • Maintains excellent work ethic and shows initiative
