About Target 10
Target 10 was among the first-ever agencies dedicated solely to LGBTQ+ consumer marketing, and over 20 years later, we’re still setting the standard. As cultural strategists and creative marketers, we help brands connect authentically with LGBTQ+ consumers through award-winning campaigns, social activations, influencer collaborations, and programs that reflect the full diversity of the community.
About the Role
We’re looking for a virtual intern to support our Account Management team in executing culturally resonant LGBTQ+ marketing programs—and to contribute meaningfully to the internal engines that power our agency. This internship offers hands-on experience across both client-facing and internal workstreams, from campaign development and cultural insights to business development and competitor tracking. You’ll join a proudly queer, deeply collaborative team that values sharp thinking, purpose-driven work, and building what’s next.
Responsibilities
Under the guidance of an Account Supervisor, you will:
● Assist with planning and execution of LGBTQ+ marketing campaigns for major consumer brands.
● Coordinate project timelines, materials, and asset delivery.
● Attend internal and client meetings; contribute ideas and take detailed notes.
● Conduct secondary research on LGBTQ+ trends, media, influencers, and conferences.
● Track competitor activity and emerging marketing strategies across sectors.
● Support internal business development, agency promotion, and social listening efforts.
● Help proofread and prepare internal and client-facing materials.
● Assist in shaping event templates and creative deliverables.
● Explore and report on top-performing influencer content and platform trends.
Project Leadership
You won’t just observe—you’ll own. With mentorship from the team, you’ll take lead on select projects that build real-world experience in campaign strategy, trend analysis, and LGBTQ+ consumer behavior. Initial projects may include:
● Evaluating “Best in Class” LGBTQ+ influencer campaigns and content strategies.
● Supporting agency positioning through competitive audits and thought leadership
support.
● Researching LGBTQ+ conference landscapes for potential brand engagement.
● Contributing to the development of LGBTQ+ marketing toolkits and playbooks.
Qualifications
● Open to current senior students (graduating Spring 2025), recent graduates, and
early-career professionals.
● Strong interest in LGBTQ+ media, marketing, and culture.
● Proactive, detail-oriented, and collaborative.
● Excellent writing, organization, and communication skills.
● Comfortable and motivated to work independently in a remote environment.
● Familiar with social media and influencer trends.
● Bonus: Past internship or leadership experience in marketing, events, or LGBTQ+
initiatives.
Details
● Paid internship ($15.00/hour)
● Flexible schedule with a minimum of 10 hours per week (15 max), for at least 3 months
● Fully remote; U.S.-based candidates only
● Candidates in the Orlando, FL area are strongly encouraged to apply
● Internship may evolve into a part-time or full-time position depending on agency need
