Title: PR & Sales Outreach Intern
Position: Sales, Public Relations, Outreach, Podcasting, Blogging, Email Campaigns, Networking
Location: Virtually, online. Candidates may be invited to visit Asheville, North Carolina for an in-person team-building and co-working retreat.
As a PR & Outreach Intern, you will be key in expanding our brand’s reach through strategic public relations and networking efforts. Your responsibilities will include:
● Guest Podcasting Outreach: Research and contact potential podcast hosts to secure guest spots, increasing our brand visibility and authority.
● Guest Blogging Outreach: Identify and pitch to blogs and websites where we can contribute guest posts, gaining backlinks and driving traffic to our site.
● PR Campaigns: Assist in the creation and execution of public relations campaigns that align with our brand’s mission and goals.
● Networking: Build and maintain relationships with key industry contacts, influencers, and media outlets to support our outreach initiatives.
● Sales Outreach: Develop and send cold sales emails to secure opportunities for guest appearances, partnerships, and collaborations.
● Tracking & Reporting: Maintain a detailed spreadsheet of outreach efforts, track responses, and analyze the effectiveness of PR campaigns.
Desired Candidate Academic Year:
Sophomore, Junior, or Senior. Graduate students are also welcome to apply.
Preferred Major(s):
Business, Marketing, Sales, Public Relations, Communications, Creative/English Writing, Journalism, or a related field.
