UF/IFAS HBREL Communications Assistant

Time Commitment: Part time, up to 20 hours a week.
Compensation: $14/hour
Applications due 9/20/26 at 11:59PM.

Duties:

Content Creation: Lead the production of a new short form series on practical beekeeping and highlight current events at the lab.
Social Media Management: Manage the lab’s various social media pages and plan/post content regularly.
Graphic Design: Design graphics for the dissemination of information on social media.

Minimum Qualifications:

Enrolled at the University of Florida.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience or coursework in photography, videography and photo/video editing.
Familiarity with social media management and content planning (Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube).
Experience or coursework in graphic design (Canva or Adobe Creative Suite).
Knowledge of honey bees and/or beekeeping is preferred but not required.
