Starr Wellness Collective (SWC) is seeking a highly motivated and articulate Clinical Outreach & Partnership Development Intern to facilitate our patient referral program with the Central Florida medical community.
This intern will be responsible for initiating professional contact with doctors’ offices (e.g., primary care physicians, specialists) to introduce SWC’s data-driven wellness, nutrition, and fitness programs as a crucial resource for their patients. The core goal is to establish referral partnerships that bridge the gap between clinical diagnosis and sustainable lifestyle adherence. This is a premium opportunity to gain hands-on experience in medical business development and nonprofit growth.
Research and identify target Central Florida medical practices whose patient populations would benefit most from foundational wellness guidance (e.g., managing metabolic risk factors, stress, or chronic fatigue).
Compile contact information for key clinical and administrative decision-makers at identified practices.
2. Professional Outreach & Partnership Initiation
Conduct professional outreach calls and emails to introduce SWC’s mission and programs.
Articulate SWC’s unique value proposition—how our services (InBody analysis, personalized hydration protocols, and macronutrient strategies) support patient compliance with the physician’s medical recommendations.
Effectively answer initial questions and secure introductory meetings or presentations for SWC staff to detail the patient referral process.
3. Data Management & Reporting
Maintain a detailed and organized database of all outreach activities, contacts, and partnership progress.
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as calls made, partnership materials distributed, and successful meeting conversions.
4. Collateral Support
Assist in preparing and customizing professional outreach materials, patient referral flyers, and physician information packets tailored to specific medical needs.
