We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic intern to assist in promoting our collection of children’s books. This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in book publicity and media relations while earning college credits.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and connect with appropriate media outlets, bloggers, and influencers for potential interviews and features.
• Assist in crafting press releases, media pitches, and promotional materials.
• Coordinate and schedule author interviews and appearances.
• Research and compile lists of relevant websites, blogs, and online communities for outreach.
• Provide support in managing social media platforms and engaging with followers.
• Collaborate with the author to brainstorm creative publicity strategies and campaigns.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, pursuing a degree in Public Relations, Advertising, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and basic analytics tools.
